We are proud to announce we are now officially registered with the Vegan Society. The Vegan Society is a registered charity that was founded in 1944 by Donald Watson and five others. Donald Watson called a meeting with five other non-dairy vegetarians, to talk about non-diary vegetarian diets and lifestyles. These six people were the first to found a new movement. The group felt that a new word was needed to describe them, something more concise than non-dairy vegetarians.
